Russia killed entire family in Ukraine's Sumy region with drone strike

Russia killed a family with two children aged 4 and 6 with drones in the Sumy region, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration.
On the night of September 30, Russia launched a targeted drone strike on a residential building in the village of Chernechchyna, Krasnopillia community.
"A married couple with two small children lived in this house. Unfortunately, no one was able to escape," Hryhorov wrote.
Rescuers recovered the bodies of four victims from the rubble — the parents and their sons, aged 6 and 4.
"This is a terrible and irreparable loss for the entire community and region. I express my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones," wrote the head of the regional military administration.
Russian drone strike danger on September 29
On the evening of September 29, a Shahed danger was declared in several regions of Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the first Russian drones were detected in Ukrainian airspace at around 6 p.m. The alarm spread in the northern, eastern, and central regions, including Sumy.

Russian drones also attacked the city of Konotop in the Sumy region on the morning of September 29. Explosions were heard there. As a result, Konotop experienced problems with the water supply.
4 days earlier, on September 25, Russians struck Sumy with drones, with a total of 4 explosions heard in the city. Earlier, Russia struck with Italmas drones. Two of them hit the territory of a private enterprise, one hit a residential area, and another explosion was heard near a municipal enterprise of the Sumy City Council.
