Russia hits Ukrainian city of Nikopol with artillery, casualties reported

Russian forces attacked Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery during the day on November 17. As a result of the attack, apartment buildings were damaged and there were casualties, reports Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Vladyslav Haivanenko.
"Two people were killed in Nikopol after the enemy struck with artillery. The attack took the lives of a 76-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man. Condolences to their families and loved ones," Haivanenko said.
According to him, one woman was also injured as a result of the attack. She was hospitalized in moderate condition. Another man was wounded by an FPV drone strike and will receive outpatient treatment.
As a result of the enemy attack, apartment buildings, shops, and a hair salon were damaged.





Russian strikes on Nikopol
Earlier in Nikopol, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian drones struck the city. The dome of a church caught fire, and the roof of a bank building and a residential building were damaged.
On November 4, the Russian army struck an ambulance in Nikopol. According to the Regional Military Administration, three medics were injured as a result of the attack, while the patient was not harmed. Emergency services quickly transported the wounded to a medical facility.
In addition, on October 11, a 23-year-old woman was killed in Nikopol as a result of Russian FPV drone attacks. Three men were injured in moderate condition. Two of them remain in the hospital under doctors' supervision.
Haivanenko also said that later that same day, a 62-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone attack and is now receiving outpatient treatment.
