Nikopol hit by drone strike: Woman dies, destruction reported

In Nikopol, a 23-year-old woman was killed in an enemy FPV drone attack. Another resident was injured, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
According to Lysak, the tragedy occurred on October 11 in Nikopol.
"The tragedy happened as a result of an enemy FPV drone strike. Our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones," he explained.
The head of the regional administration also reported that, in a separate drone attack, a 62-year-old man was injured and is currently receiving outpatient treatment.
"A shop, a five-story building, and infrastructure were damaged," he added.
It should be noted that just yesterday, Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting energy infrastructure.
According to Yevhen Sytnichenko, head of the Kryvyi Rih District Military Administration, a private enterprise building in Kryvyi Rih was damaged. A fire broke out but has since been extinguished by emergency service personnel.
Three men sustained moderate injuries, two of whom remain hospitalized under medical supervision.
Sytnichenko emphasized that the aggressor carried out massive attacks on the region with drones and missiles. Explosions were reported in Dnipro, Kamianske, and Kryvyi Rih. Energy infrastructure was targeted, fires broke out, and the full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Nikopol district was also targeted, with the enemy using artillery and Grad multiple launch rocket systems. Nikopol and Marhanets suffered damage. Area inspections are ongoing.
