Attacks on Ukraine

The Russian army continues its drone terror against civilians in the Kharkiv region. In particular, Russian forces attack civilians with drones and set up drone "ambushes" targeting those who come to help the victims.

Notably, on the night of 12 December, a DTEK (private investor in Ukraine's energy sector) substation in the Odesa region was hit by Russian drones. The enemy also attacked a facility of another energy company. As of the morning of Friday, 12 December, over 90,000 subscribers were left without electricity.

In total, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using 80 strike drones. The targets were once again exclusively energy and civilian infrastructure. Air defense systems shot down 64 enemy drones.

Additionally, Russian forces struck one of Ukraine’s coal mines with strike drones during the night. Two people were reported injured as a result of the attack.
