Russians carried out another drone attack on the Chernihiv region. During the day from November 5 to 6, 104 explosions were heard in the region, according to Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv regional military administration.

Yesterday evening, Russian Geran drones attacked an energy facility in a border community in the Chernihiv region.

A fire broke out at the site of the Russian attack, which was quickly extinguished. Energy workers are currently working to restore the power supply.

According to Chaus, Russia struck the transport infrastructure in the Nizhyn district.

In the Koriukivka district, debris from a Russian drone damaged a residential building and a car.

Russian drone attacks continued throughout the night. In particular, drones flew in the direction of Chernihiv, but, as the official clarified, no hits were recorded in the city.

"Over the past day, Russia attacked 17 settlements. There were 35 strikes and 104 explosions," Chaus says.

Russian attacks on Chernihiv region

Chernihiv and the region have been under constant Russian attack for several months. Residents are living in difficult conditions. Due to the Russian strikes, the region regularly faces power outages, heating, and water supply interruptions.

Russian troops are systematically attacking energy infrastructure in an attempt to make life as difficult as possible for civilians.

On November 1, the Russians launched 2 ballistic missiles at the Mena community in the Chernihiv region. An agricultural enterprise was hit, causing destruction.

Earlier, Russia struck a television tower in the center of Chernihiv, damaging the structure.

Russians also attacked one of the important power supply facilities in the Koriukivka district, resulting in an attack on a repair crew working at the site.
