The Russian command has begun forming assault companies composed of women due to significant personnel losses in the Pokrovsk sector, reports the partisan movement Atesh.
According to agents operating within enemy ranks, the command of the 506th Motorized Rifle Regiment of Russia has begun recruiting women into assault units to compensate for significant personnel losses.
"This indicates that Russian forces have exhausted the resources of mercenaries and contract soldiers and are ready to send anyone to slaughter, turning women into cannon fodder," the partisans reported.
In addition to assaults, women are also being used by the Russian army for infiltration. In the event of an unsuccessful assault, they are ordered to change into civilian clothes to conduct reconnaissance under a civilian guise and relay information on the movements of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
"Our sources confirm that there is no way back for these women. Their lives depend solely on the 'mercy' of their commanders, which can be earned in only one way. The Russian army has completely lost any moral compass," the movement added.
Situation in the Pokrovsk sector
According to the General Staff of Ukraine's morning report, 120 combat engagements occurred over the past day between the Defense Forces and Russian troops, with the enemy showing the highest activity in the Pokrovsk sector.
In this part of the front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 39 enemy assault actions near 13 settlements.
In recent days, a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group managed to infiltrate the center of Pokrovsk and kill several civilians. However, Ukrainian soldiers detected and eliminated them inside the railway station building.
According to the local administration, despite daily shelling and enemy control over access routes, civilians remain in Pokrovsk.
