On the morning of September 18, Russian forces dropped a FAB-250 bomb on Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. The strike killed five people, according to Ukraine’s National Police.

"At around 10 a.m. today, the Russian army dropped a FAB-250 bomb with a Universal Gliding and Correction Module on a residential area of the city. Police officers worked at the site of the strike," the statement said.

The attack killed five people — two women aged 62 and 65, and three men aged 65, 67, and 74.

Attacks on Kostiantynivka

Kostiantynivka, a frontline city in the Donetsk region, is under constant enemy fire.

On September 13, Russian forces attacked the city from early morning. The attack damaged numerous buildings, leaving people injured and dead.

On September 4, Russia carried out an airstrike on a functioning hospital in Kostiantynivka, as well as on the village of Illinivka. Two people were killed, and buildings, including the medical facility, were damaged.

On August 26, Russian troops attacked a rescue team in Kostiantynivka. The attack damaged a building and a vehicle.
