The Russian army struck the city of Kherson with a guided aerial bomb (KAB) for the second time in a day on the evening of Friday, March 14. A fire has been reported in the city, according to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on Telegram.

"For the second time today, the city has trembled from enemy airstrikes," Prokudin wrote.

According to him, one of the guided aerial bombs hit a residential neighborhood. As a result, a private house caught fire in the Tsentralnyi district.

Information on casualties and the extent of the destruction is currently being clarified.

At the same time, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office clarified that the Russian forces carried out a massive airstrike on Kherson.

Today, at around 9:00 p.m. Kyiv time, Russian forces launched another massive airstrike on the Kherson region, dropping eight guided aerial bombs.

Strikes have been recorded in the Kherson and Beryslav districts.

In Kherson, a 43-year-old man was killed as a result of the strike. Rescuers retrieved his body from the rubble. Another civilian was injured.

In the village of Tekstylne, a 14-year-old child was wounded.

Private residential buildings, vehicles, and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged. Information on casualties is being clarified.

Bombing of Ukraine on March 14

On the night of March 14, Russia launched 27 drones at Ukraine. According to the Air Force, 16 Shahed attack drones were shot down over the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions.

Kharkiv and Donetsk regions were also affected during the attack. In particular, the Russian forces struck a hospital in Zolochiv, causing a fire and injuring a civilian.

Later in the evening of March 14, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. Russia hit the center of a residential neighborhood, resulting in casualties.

"Eight people were injured, none seriously. Five have been hospitalized, while three received medical assistance on the spot. Preliminary reports indicate Iskander-M ballistic missiles," said the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
