Russian army strikes residential district in Zelenskyy's hometown: Casualties reported

On the evening of March 14, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. Russia hit the center of a residential area, causing casualties, according to the Telegram channels of Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, and Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"Kryvyi Rih. Missile attack. Stay safe. Possible repeated strikes," Vilkul reported.
According to Lysak, the Russian forces launched a missile strike on the center of a residential district.
"Another proof that the Russians are waging war against the civilian population. The relevant services are already working. We are clarifying the consequences. Remain in shelters until the all-clear is given, as repeated strikes are possible," the head of the regional military administration added.
Preliminarily, four people have been injured in Kryvyi Rih. All are in moderate condition and are receiving necessary medical assistance.
Bombing of Kryvyi Rih
On March 12, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih, targeting the city with ballistic missiles in a double attack.
As a result of the strike, a woman who was traveling in a trolleybus near the impact site was killed. Additionally, 15 people were injured.
One of the strikes also hit the Druzhba Hotel. At the time of the attack, volunteers from a humanitarian organization — citizens of Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom — were present in the hotel.
