Russia destroyed Skyeton's Kyiv office during an attack on the night of May 14. The drone manufacturer continues to operate, as it had relocated its production facilities in advance.

No casualties were reported as a result of the Russian strike. The company notes that it had anticipated the risk of attacks and had therefore relocated its production facilities to various regions of Ukraine and abroad in advance.

"We understood that sooner or later Skyeton could become a target for the Russians, so we had prepared for this scenario in advance by relocating our production facilities to different parts of Ukraine and abroad," the statement says.

The developer will continue to supply unmanned technologies for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Skyeton

The Ukrainian company, founded in 2006, specializes in reconnaissance aviation systems, particularly the Raybird (ACS-3) complex. The manufacturer’s products are certified to NATO standards and are resistant to electronic warfare measures.

In addition to Ukraine, Skyeton is expanding production in other countries. Specifically, Raybird is manufactured in Slovakia through the subsidiary Tropozond s.r.o., and there is an agreement with the Danish company Quadsat regarding the development of electromagnetic surveillance systems.

In July 2025, the company partnered with the British Prevail Partners to establish a joint venture in the UK. The new production facility was expected to create 160 skilled jobs.

Russian attack on Kyiv

On the night of May 14, Russian strikes on the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv caused the collapse of a high-rise building. An entire building section, 18 apartments, was destroyed.

In addition, a fire broke out at a gas station, the blast wave shattered windows in neighboring buildings, and nearby shops were also damaged. A shopping center located next to a nine-story building was also damaged.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that air defense systems shot down over 93% of Russian missiles and drones. He also announced Ukraine’s response to all these attacks.
