Russia deploys Kalibr carriers to Black Sea
As of 6:00 AM on September 4, one Russian vessel equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles remains in the Black Sea, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, capable of launching up to four missiles.
There are no enemy vessels in the Sea of Azov.
In the Mediterranean Sea, there are two enemy ships, one of which is armed with Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total launch capacity of up to eight missiles.
Over the past day, vessels moving in the interests of Russia have passed through the Kerch Strait:
- five ships entered the Black Sea, with one continuing towards the Bosporus Strait;
- eight ships entered the Sea of Azov, with two coming from the Bosporus Strait.
According to the latest briefing from the General Staff, the situation in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions remains tense, with the enemy concentrating their primary offensive efforts in these areas. Additionally, the occupiers actively attacked in the Lyman direction over the past day.
On September 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, following a report from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced that the military command has decided to strengthen the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction.
