Russia damaged Boeing offices during attack on Kyiv, - FT

Russia launched a massive overnight attack on Kyiv on June 10, significantly damaging the offices of Boeing, according to the Financial Times.
According to the publication, a building used by Boeing in Kyiv was heavily damaged in the recent large-scale Russian strike, which was likely a deliberate attack on the American aerospace company.
According to two Boeing employees, three Ukrainian officials, and the head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC), the building was among the targets that were damaged during the attack on the night of June 10.
Financial Times verified images published by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine showing severe damage to the building and firefighters extinguishing a fire inside.
Boeing in Ukraine
Boeing is one of the most well-known American companies operating in Ukraine, with its work primarily focused on engineering and technical support.
The company collaborates with the Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer Antonov. According to the publication, earlier this year Boeing executives met with representatives of Antonov and Ukraine’s defense minister to discuss new joint ventures.
Boeing’s Ukrainian office employs more than 1,000 people across the country. The company has continued operating despite the war. In a comment to the outlet, Andrii Koriahin, deputy general director of Boeing Ukraine, said the attack caused "no disruption in operations."
Another Boeing employee said the company is actively hiring for positions in Ukraine. A job listing published on June 2 stated that Boeing was looking for an interior design and aircraft certification manager to work in Kyiv.
Massive attack on Kyiv
As a reminder, on the night of June 10, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Kyiv, Odesa, and other Ukrainian cities. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it was one of the largest strikes on Kyiv.
The Russian military launched 315 drones, two ballistic missiles, and five cruise missiles across Ukraine.
