Russian Shahed-type drones are equipped with a shrapnel warhead aimed at maximizing the damage to manpower and equipment, according to Yurii Ihnat, head of the communications department of the Ukrainian Air Force.

Ihnat explained that the warhead of drones can be thermobaric, high-explosive, or contain shrapnel.

Such weapons spread the elements of destruction over a large area, which poses a deadly threat not only to equipment but also to civilians.

“That is why all services call on citizens not to be near windows or in the street during such attacks, because with such a warhead the spread of these elements poses a deadly threat to the lives of citizens,” emphasized Ihnat.

This type of weapon demonstrates Russia's readiness to strike with high destructive power.

Russian long-range Shahed-136 drones are now equipped with new 90 kg warheads, both of domestic production and Iranian origin.

The number of victims of Russia's nighttime attack on Odesa increased to two. On the night of June 10, they massively attacked the city with attack drones.

On the night of June 10, Russian troops once again attacked the Kyiv region with drones. The enemy attack damaged dozens of private homes, cars, and hangars, injuring one person.
