Dozens of damaged houses and cars: Aftermath of massive attack on Kyiv region

On the night of June 10, Russian troops once again attacked the Kyiv region with attack drones. The attack damaged dozens of private homes, cars, hangars, and injured one person, according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk and the Kyiv regional police.
The air raid alert in the region lasted almost seven hours. The air defense forces shot down enemy targets, but the wreckage of the drones caused damage to the infrastructure.

The Brovary district suffered the most damage: 21 private houses, five cars, and two garages were damaged.
In the Boryspil district, a fire broke out in a private house, which burned down completely. Two high-rise buildings, seven private houses, and two cars were also damaged.
A 57-year-old man was injured and taken to the hospital with a bruised chest. Doctors provided him with all the necessary assistance.

In the Fastiv district, the attack damaged a private house and two cars, and a fire was extinguished in a hangar.
Two hangars were damaged in the Obukhiv district.
Elimination of the aftermath
Emergency services continue to deal with the aftermath. Local authorities are working with international partners to help the victims.
“We are working with the local authorities and our international partners to help every owner of the damaged houses,” the Kyiv Regional Administration said.
According to the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out at one of the city's industrial facilities as a result of a combined enemy strike. Firefighters extinguished the fire over an area of 2,500 square meters.

104 rescuers and 35 pieces of equipment were working at the site.
