Russia cripples Ukrainian energy giant's facility, hitting gas infrastructure again

Russian forces targeted the infrastructure facilities of Ukraine's energy company DTEK Naftogaz in the Poltava region, the company says.
Aftermath of Russia's latest attack
An energy facility operated by DTEK Naftogaz in the Poltava region was targeted in another attack by the Russian army.
As a result, operations at the gas production facility were completely halted. Specialists are currently assessing the extent of the damage.
Russian assaults on energy giant's facilities
As previously reported, Russia continues to systematically attack DTEK company's energy and gas production infrastructure across Ukraine.
In particular, overnight on August 22, DTEK energy facilities in the Odesa region sustained serious damage as a result of Russian strikes. Specialists have already begun restoration work, but returning the equipment to operation will take considerable time.
Also, on August 18, one of the company's thermal power plants was targeted in a massive attack. The plant completely stopped generating electricity due to critical damage to the equipment.
Moreover, Russian forces struck DTEK Naftogaz infrastructure in the Poltava region on August 11. This resulted in specialists completely halting gas production at the facility.
