In Russia's Murmansk region, reports of drone attacks have surfaced for the second day in a row. Allegedly, a couple of UAVs were shot down near the Olenya airfield, citing the Mash Telegram channel.

Due to the drone attack, the "Carpet" mode was activated at two airports in the Murmansk region: Murmashi and Khibiny.

Reportedly, two drones were downed 7 kilometers from the Olenya airfield in Olenegorsk.

Just yesterday, on September 11, Russian authorities already complained about a drone attack in the Murmansk region. UAVs were detected near Severomorsk, where the main naval base of Russia's Northern Fleet is located.

As a result, two airports, in Murmansk and Apatity, were closed.

At the end of July, RBC-Ukraine sources reported a drone attack on an oil refinery and three Russian military airfields. Shortly after, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense officially confirmed this information. Intelligence also revealed that two strategic Tu-22M3 bombers were damaged in the strike on the Olenya airfield.
