Russia carries out double guided bomb strike on Kharkiv: Fatality reported

Russian forces struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb during the day on June 29, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
At 3:39 p.m. Kyiv time, Terekhov reported that an enemy guided aerial bomb had struck the Kholodnohirskyi district and said that all circumstances of the attack were being established.
Later, the first casualties were reported. Initial reports indicated that two people had been injured, while later updates confirmed one death and two people in critical condition.
As of 4:01 p.m., the Kharkiv mayor confirmed that one person had been killed and said the number of injured had risen to five. According to him, some of the victims sustained severe injuries.
The strike damaged a tram, the power grid, more than 15 vehicles, an industrial building, and residential houses located near the impact site.
Meanwhile, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov specified that the injured included a 65-year-old woman, a 20-year-old woman, and a 54-year-old man. All of them are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
At 4:22 p.m., Terekhov reported another impact in the Kholodnohirskyi district. According to him, the guided aerial bomb did not detonate this time.
"Another impact has been recorded in the Kholodnohirskyi district. Fortunately, the guided aerial bomb did not detonate. Explosive ordnance disposal specialists are working at the scene," the Kharkiv mayor wrote.
On the afternoon of June 28, Russian forces carried out a massive airstrike on one of Zaporizhzhia's districts. According to the latest reports, two people were killed, and another 17 were injured, including two children.
The attack partially destroyed residential buildings and damaged an apartment block as well as private homes.
