Russia can no longer use the Black Sea as a springboard to destabilize other regions of the world. This was facilitated by Ukraine's creation of the world's first fleet of maritime drones, reports President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a speech at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).

He notes that Ukraine was able to show how cooperation between the peoples of the Black Sea region can restore stability to the world food market. In particular, it is about the protection of the western part of the Black Sea. This allowed Ukraine to open sea export corridors, despite the Russian blockade.

"We were able to intercept Russia's initiative in the Black Sea and created such security conditions that force the aggressor to flee from the eastern part of the water area and try to hide warships," the president says.

Zelenskyy reminds that Ukraine was the first in the world to create a fleet of naval drones to confront Russia in the Black Sea.

"I would also like to note that now - as one of the main results of our actions - Russia cannot use the Black Sea as a springboard to destabilize other regions of the world," the head of state emphasizes.

The President of Ukraine called for strengthening cooperation in the Black Sea region.

Operations of Ukraine in the Black Sea

Ukrainian troops are attacking Russian ships in the Black Sea. In particular, defenders of Ukraine repeatedly attacked the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the bays of Sevastopol. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also struck the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in occupied Sevastopol.

On November 10, fighters of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense conducted an operation using surface drones in Crimea. The Russian landing ship of project 1176 Akula and the ship of project 11770 Serna went to the bottom.

The intelligence officers explained that these two small amphibious ships were important for the invaders, as they played the role of carriers of anti-aircraft missile systems.
