Russia attacks Ukraine with 160 drones, most of them jet-powered: Details

On the night of October 10, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with strike drones; most of them were jet-powered. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones, but some hit their targets, according to a report by the Ukrainian Air Force.
This night, Russia attacked with 160 Shahed-type attack drones (110 of them jet-powered), Gerbera drones and Parodiya-type decoy drones launched from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 am Kyiv time, air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 117 enemy Shahed-type drones (82 of them jet-powered), Gerbera drones and other types of drones.
Hits by enemy aerial weapons were recorded at 14 locations, while debris from downed drones fell at 10 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in Ukrainian airspace.
Attacks on Ukraine
On the morning of October 10, Russia attacked western regions of Ukraine with drones. Explosions were heard in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk, and air defense systems were operating.
Also in the morning, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia, hitting a five-story residential building. People, including children, were killed, and there were injuries. People may still be trapped under the rubble.
