Russia attacks Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia for second time in one day: Multi-story building damaged

Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia for the second time in one day on the evening of December 31. The attack damaged a multi-story building, and one person was injured, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"The enemy struck Zaporizhzhia again. A multi-story building was damaged, and cars caught fire. Unfortunately, one person was injured. Emergency services are already dealing with the consequences and providing necessary medical assistance," he wrote.
Later, Fedorov reported that a "point of resilience" had been set up near the site of the Russian attack. He also shared photos from the scene of the latest assault by Russian forces.
"Russia is a terrorist state. All day, people in Zaporizhzhia have been hearing air raid alarms, while our emergency services respond to the consequences of enemy attacks. A 'point of resilience' has been set up near the site of the strike," the statement said.

During the day on December 31, an air raid alert in Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region lasted for over four hours due to another attack by Russian forces. In Zaporizhzhia itself, several fires were reported following strikes by enemy drones, but there were no casualties.
Earlier, on the night of December 30, another attack by Russian forces was recorded in Zaporizhzhia. Infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were hit.
As of December 26, due to Russian terrorist attacks in Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region that occurred during the autumn and December, 33 people were being treated in medical facilities in the regional center. Almost half of the wounded were of retirement age.
