Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia under fire again: Russia strikes industrial facility

An air raid alert has been ongoing for more than four hours in the Zaporizhzhia region due to another attack by Russian forces. Several fires have been reported in Zaporizhzhia itself; according to preliminary information, there are no casualties, according to the official Telegram channel of Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Residents of Zaporizhzhia heard explosions during a prolonged air raid alert. The cause was a Russian strike on an industrial infrastructure facility.
"The explosion heard by residents of Zaporizhzhia was the result of an enemy attack on an industrial infrastructure facility," Fedorov said.
According to him, the strike sparked several fires, and relevant services are working at the sites. Preliminary reports indicate there are no wounded or fatalities.
"Fortunately, there were no casualties. The air raid alert continues; I urge everyone to remain in safe places," the head of the region emphasized.

Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov clarified that the Russian forces carried out strikes on three districts of Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, three apartment buildings, three private houses, and non-residential facilities were damaged.
Windows were blown out in the buildings, balconies were destroyed, and roofs and facades were damaged.
On the night of December 30, another attack by Russian forces was recorded in Zaporizhzhia. Infrastructure facilities and residential areas came under fire.
Explosions were also heard in Odesa amid the enemy attack. During the same period, a threat of the use of ballistic weapons was declared in the southern, northern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
On the night of December 29, Russia carried out a massive attack using strike drones launched simultaneously from several directions. Air defense forces destroyed most of the aerial targets; however, some strikes could not be avoided.
