Russia attacks Ukraine's Kherson with Shahed drones: Residential areas hit, civilians injured

Last night, Russia attacked the Korabelnyi district of Kherson with Shahed-type strike drones, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Russian strikes caused a fire. Debris from the attack partially destroyed a 2-story building and damaged an educational institution and a garage containing a passenger car.
3 people were injured. Rescuers pulled one of them from under the rubble.
All the injured are in the hospital, where they are receiving the necessary care. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.

Russian strikes on Ukraine on October 21
That night, Chernihiv and part of the region suffered one of the most massive Russian strikes. Russian troops struck energy infrastructure, resulting in a complete blackout in Chernihiv.

Russia also struck the Cherkasy region. There, debris from downed Russian drones damaged a street transformer, leaving over 150 subscribers without power.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of October 21, Russia carried out a combined attack on Ukraine with missiles and nearly a hundred strike drones.
As specified by the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia struck Ukraine with:
- 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region of Russia;
- 4 S-300 missiles from the Kursk region;
- 98 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of attack drones.
Russian drones flew from 4 directions, with about 70 of the launched drones being Shaheds.
