On the night of May 18, Russia carried out another combined attack on Ukraine. The Russian army used Iskander-M ballistic missiles, Iskander-K cruise missiles, and more than 500 drones of various types.

The Dnipropetrovsk region was hit hardest in the attack. A series of powerful explosions were heard in Dnipro, with residential areas in the regional center coming under attack.

Apartment blocks and private homes, a religious institution, a higher education facility, an enterprise, and vehicles were damaged in the city. Eighteen people were injured in the attack.

As a result of the massive strike, a Ukrnafta gas station in the Dnipropetrovsk region was completely destroyed.

Odesa also came under attack. Russian drones hit three residential buildings — a single-story house in the Prymorskyi district was destroyed.
