Russian forces are deliberately targeting Ukrainian emergency workers during rescue operations following missile and drone attacks, Ukraine's State Emergency Service reports.

According to the rescue department, 4 emergency workers were injured today due to enemy attacks.

In Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, a Russian drone targeted local fire department rescuers as they were evacuating civilians from a danger zone.

Two firefighters were injured, and a service vehicle was also damaged. Rescuers provided first aid to the injured and transported them to the hospital.

Meanwhile, in Kherson, an enemy FPV drone hit a truck belonging to one of the rescue units. Two workers were injured and transported to the hospital.

"The occupiers are deliberately targeting rescuers, knowing that they are the last line of defense for the civilian population. They are attacking those who save lives every day," Ukraine's State Emergency Service said.

Furthermore, overnight, the Russian army attacked rescuers who were extinguishing a fire in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
