Russia attacks border area of Sumy region: Casualty reported, 4-year-old among injured
Russian troops attacked the border of the Sumy region on April 3. One person was killed and a 4-year-old child was among the wounded, according to Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Today, at 9:25 a.m., the Russians launched a missile attack on the Krasnopillia community, killing one civilian. Two residents of the community - a father and a 4-year-old son - were also injured," the statement reads.

In addition, 5 cars, a store, and a cultural center were damaged as a result of the Russian attack.
"All necessary services are working on the spot. We emphasize once again: do not ignore the air raid alarms," the Sumy Regional Military Administration says.
Children and Russia's war against Ukraine
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, as of April 3, more than 1,818 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale invasion - 538 children were killed and more than 1,280 were injured of varying severity.
In particular, on April 2, 5 children aged 14 to 17 were injured in the Russian shelling of Dnipro. In addition, on April 2, Russian troops attacked the village of Novoosynove in the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region. A 59-year-old man was killed on the spot, and his 11-year-old son died in hospital on April 3.
