Romania finds debris from fourth drone in a single day

Fragments of another drone — the fourth discovered in a single day — were found in the Romanian border village of Plauru. The settlement is located just steps from the border with Ukraine, according to a statement from Romania's Ministry of Defense.
Drone debris was discovered in Tulcea County in the village of Plauru, located two kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
A team of specialists from Romania's Ministry of Defense was immediately dispatched to the scene. Experts have already identified the object and taken all necessary measures to ensure safety in the area.
Romania's Ministry of Defense said it would provide more detailed information about the incident at a later stage.
Earlier today, at around noon, reports emerged that a drone had crashed in Tulcea County, sparking a fire. The incident occurred in a wooded area near the village of Luncavița, close to the Cetățuia quarry.
In addition, an alert was issued today at a beach in the Romanian resort town of Costinești after drone debris was discovered on the shoreline.
On August 11, Romanian forces destroyed two Gerbera-type drones near the Neptun Deep offshore gas project. Explosive ordnance disposal teams detonated them more than 166 kilometers east of Constanța.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that Romania shot down three Russian drones over a three-day period. Bucharest spent about €1.5 million on the interceptions.
