As a result of the Russian strike on Sumy, 28 people were injured. Emergency workers have completed their operations at the site of the attack, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).

According to the SES, after the attack, rescuers were deployed at seven different locations. In the damaged residential buildings, they temporarily repaired shattered windows and restored the roof of a multi-story apartment building.

At the same time, sappers inspected the area and removed remnants of explosive devices.

Psychologists and medical personnel also provided necessary assistance to the victims.

"Unfortunately, as a result of the enemy attack, four people were killed and another 28 were injured, including three children," the SES reported.

Attack on Sumy

Russian forces struck Sumy this morning, June 3. The enemy targeted the city center, where many civilians were gathered.

A few hours ago, it was reported that a man who had sustained critical injuries died in the hospital. His 7-year-old daughter was also severely wounded.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the Russian strike "barbaric".
