Putin watches live as Russian planes burn: Kremlin reacts to Operation Spiderweb

The Spokesperson for the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, commented on a series of explosions that rocked several Russian regions following the large-scale SBU special Operation Spiderweb targeting aircraft, the Telegram channel of TASS reports.
In particular, Peskov stated that Vladimir Putin had been receiving information about the incidents in real time.
According to Peskov, the Investigative Committee of Russia has already launched an investigation, and the Russian Ministry of Defense has also issued a formal statement.
"We said that the President had been receiving information in real time. That's first. You know that there's an ongoing investigation launched by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. And the Ministry of Defense has also issued a relevant statement. I suggest we wait for the results of the investigation and rely on the contents of the Ministry of Defense’s statement," said the Spokesperson for the Russian President.
The day before, a large-scale operation by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) was reported, during which key military facilities in Russia were blown up.
SBU special operation
On Sunday, June 1, Ukraine's Security Service struck Russian airfields using drones.
SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk stated that the attack damaged 41 Russian aircraft, mostly strategic bombers.
The Ukrainian drones hit four Russian military bases: Belaya, Dyagilevo, Olenya, and Ivanovo.
The SBU has already calculated the financial losses inflicted on Russia from just one day of the Ukrainian special operation.
