Putin travels abroad with Su-35S fighter jet escort
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin set off for the Middle East today, December 6. He arrived in the capital of the United Arab Emirates and will then head to Saudi Arabia, according to Russian propagandist media RIA Novosti.
Putin will hold negotiations in Abu Dhabi with the country's leader, Mohammed Al Nahyan, initially as part of delegations and then face-to-face.
The dictator's spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, stated that Russian Su-35S fighter jets allegedly had accompanied Putin's aircraft throughout the entire flight to Abu Dhabi.
Russian media showed that after Putin arrived in Abu Dhabi airplanes painted the Russian tricolor in the sky over the city.
Later the same day, the dictator plans to travel to Saudi Arabia, where he will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed Al Saud.
What Putin will discuss
Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Peskov stated that during the meeting with the leaders of the UAE and the heir to the throne of Saudi Arabia, Putin would "exchange views" on bilateral relations, and international and regional agenda.
An assistant to the Russian dictator, Yuri Ushakov, says that Putin also intends to discuss the war in Ukraine, and conflicts in Israel, Syria, Yemen, and Sudan.
Fifth trip in two months
Russian dictator is limited in his foreign visits. In March 2023, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Putin over the deportation of Ukrainian children from occupied territories. Now Putin can be arrested in more than 120 countries worldwide.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia do not recognize the jurisdiction of this court and have not ratified the Rome Statute.
It's already Putin's fifth international trip in two months. In October, he visited Kyrgyzstan and China, and in November he was in Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Tomorrow, December 7, Putin will meet with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Russia.
The President of Brazil stated that Putin would be invited to the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro. However, the Brazilian leader warned the dictator about the consequences as he could be arrested.
Earlier, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flavio Dino, said that Brazil was considering withdrawing from the International Criminal Court.
