Russian leader Vladimir Putin responded with threats to reports about the possible delivery of American long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, according to Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin.

According to Putin, supplying these missiles to Ukraine would lead to the "destruction of positive trends in relations between Russia and the United States." Moreover, he said that he had discussed the issue of supplying weapons to Ukraine with US President Donald Trump.

"Just now you mentioned the US president. There were also issues related, let’s say, to discussing the problems of supplying new weapons systems, including long-range, high-precision systems — these are the Tomahawks. I have already said that this will lead to the destruction of our relations, at least the positive tendencies that have appeared in them. So I’m saying what I think. And how it will develop depends not only on us and not only on me," the Russian leader said.

Tomahawk supplies to Ukraine: what is known

Earlier, we reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had submitted requests to the United States for weapons, but he did not confirm the rumors regarding Tomahawk missiles.

At the same time, US Vice President JD Vance, during a conversation with the media, confirmed that Washington is discussing the supply of such missiles to Ukraine, but emphasized that the final decision rests with US President Donald Trump.

It was also reported that US Special Representative Keith Kellogg said that the decision on the potential provision of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine has not yet been made, and that the final word rests solely with President Trump. However, he later retracted his statement.
