Strikes on Ukraine are "effective and timely" and also help Russian troops carry out their missions on the front line, Vladimir Putin said.
Statement made by Putin on strikes against Ukraine
Vladimir Putin once again commented on Russia's continuous attacks on Ukrainian territory.
According to him, massive strikes on critical and civilian infrastructure allegedly have a direct impact on the situation along the front line.
He claims that such actions by the Russian military make it easier for occupying forces to carry out their missions directly on the battlefield.
Context of Russian attacks
Russian forces regularly launch massive combined strikes against Ukraine using strike drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.
Their primary targets remain Ukraine's energy and critical infrastructure, as well as civilian facilities across the country.
Russia talks, attacks on infrastructure
As previously reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin opposes peace talks and counts on terrorizing civilians during the cold season.
First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya said this earlier, noting that the Kremlin is betting that Ukrainians will supposedly not be able to survive the coming winter.
At the same time, Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to carry out retaliatory strikes against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Available data says attacks on Russia's industry and infrastructure are putting significant negative pressure on its economy, although the Kremlin leader has publicly sought to downplay their scale.
