Russian President Vladimir Putin waited for the temperature to drop and stockpiled drones and missiles to continue his massive attacks against Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha says.

Neither the diplomatic efforts in Abu Dhabi this week nor his promises to the US have prevented Putin from continuing his terror against ordinary people in the harshest winter.

"We are dealing with terrorists who must be forced to stop violence," Sybiha stresses.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister outlines the key steps that, in his opinion, the international community should take.

These include strengthening Ukraine's air defense and energy security, increasing pressure on Moscow, depriving the Russian military machine of energy revenues and access to technology, and internationally isolating the Russian regime.

Separately, Sybiha calls for the detention and confiscation of illegal Russian oil tankers.

"Putin must be deprived of illusions that he can achieve anything by his bombing, terror, and aggression," the Minister concludes.

Massive Russian attack on Ukraine on February 3

On the night of February 3, Russia carried out another missile and drone strike on Kyiv and many other Ukrainian cities, including Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Odesa. Russians targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia used an extremely large number of ballistic missiles, which significantly complicated the work of air defense.

As of 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces had shot down/suppressed 450 Russian means of destruction — 38 missiles and 412 drones of various types.

In Kyiv, the Russian attack destroyed residential buildings and caused fires. The number of victims has risen to five. A significant part of the left bank of Kyiv was left without a heat supply.

Russia struck a symbol of Kyiv, damaging the museum under the Motherland Monument.
