Putin may meet Trump again, Kremlin says, but under one condition

Russian leader Vladimir Putin could indeed meet with US President Donald Trump, but only under one condition - if Trump visits China, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov reports.
What we know so far
Reports recently indicated that Chinese leader Xi Jinping is planning a trilateral meeting with Trump and Putin. According to media sources, Xi intends to invite Trump to China's military parade in September, commemorating the end of World War II - an event Putin has already confirmed he will attend.
Trump might visit China ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, which is scheduled for October 30 to November 1.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin has been silent for the past few days about preparations for a meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Trump himself said he could fly to Türkiye, where the Ukrainian and Russian delegations met on May 16, "if it's appropriate." However, that never happened.
Later, the US President said he would meet with Putin as soon as such a meeting could be arranged.
