Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov says that they have no information about a planned meeting between Putin, Trump, and Xi Jinping, informs TASS.

"We have no information on the possibility of such a meeting," Peskov said.

He commented on a report by The Times that Putin, Xi Jinping, and Trump might meet at a parade in China in September to mark the end of World War II.

The Times noted that the US President and the Chinese leader exchanged mutual invitations for visits, but have not set specific dates yet.

It also said the Russian president received an invitation to the event.

Recent meetings between Putin and Xi

Chinese leader Xi Jinping visited Russia for a four-day trip on May 9, 2025. One topic of his talks with the Russian president was the construction of the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline.

The parties exchanged pleasantries and discussed, among other things, the war in Ukraine.

Earlier, historian and diplomat Roman Bezsmertnyi predicted that a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Xi Jinping before the war ends is unlikely.
