Powerful explosions rock occupied Crimea, Russian air defense operating
In several regions of Ukrainian temporarily occupied Crimea, powerful explosions were heard. Additionally, the Russians have blocked the Crimean Bridge, inform the Crimean Wind Telegram channel and local public sources.
Eyewitnesses reported loud explosions in Yevpatoria due to the Russian air defense systems.
Later, residents indicated that judging by the flashes, missiles hit a target near Yevpatoria, and "nothing was shot down by Russian air defense."
In addition, residents heard two explosions in the Dzhankoy district. In the village of Uhlove in the Bakhchysarai district, explosions were heard coming from the direction of the sea.
Also, the occupiers have blocked the Crimean Bridge.
Eyewitnesses report the operation of Russian air defense near the village of Vorobyove in the Saky district.
In the Krasnoperekopsk district, residents counted up to eight explosions.
Additionally, five to six explosions were heard in the urban-type settlement of Pervomaiske.
Subscribers of the Crimean Wind Telegram channel report that, likely, a military object near the village of Naumivka in the Saky district was hit.
And in the village of Mykhailivka in the Saky district, power suddenly went out.
Situation in occupied Crimea
On the night of June 6, Ukrainian special forces destroyed another Russian military ship in the Black Sea near temporarily occupied Crimea.
At the end of May, the Defense Forces struck the Kerch crossing and sank one of the Russians' ferries.
