Drone strike on Poltava

Late in the evening on April 22, a series of explosions were heard in Poltava against the backdrop of the Russian drone attack. Additionally, local public forums reported power outages in parts of the city following the attack.

Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration stated that there were reports of hits on businesses and open areas near civilian sites in the Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Poltava.

The official mentioned that thanks to the efforts of air defense forces and assets in the Poltava region, a significant number of the Russian aerial targets were shot down. However, there were still hits in the Poltava area, with impacts on civilian infrastructure and businesses.
