The number of casualties has risen in Poltava following a Russian drone strike on a gas station, according to the Telegram channel of the Poltava Regional State Emergency Service.

According to the service, the strike caused a fire and structural damage to the building.

Four people were injured - three drivers and a cashier.

Vehicles, the building, and station equipment were damaged.

“Emergency responders, pyrotechnicians, and canine units from the State Emergency Service, along with specialized machinery and engineering equipment, were involved in the aftermath. The fire has been extinguished, and debris removal operations are complete,” the service reported.

On the evening of September 17, Russian forces destroyed a gas station near Poltava with a drone strike, causing a fire.

Photos from the scene were shared on Telegram by Volodymyr Kohut, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

Additionally, enemy drones targeted the Poltava region overnight on September 17, triggering a fire in an open area of an industrial site.
