Polish General Staff teaches citizens to not succumb to Russia's manipulations
The Polish General Staff is educating its citizens on how to resist Moscow's manipulations. Relevant posts are published every Monday on the social network X, according to Polskie Radio.
According to Weronika Milczarczyk, an employee from the General Staff's communications department, the more Poles know about the tools used by the enemy, the harder it will be for them to be deceived.
"We do not want to frighten people; we prioritize building resilience. It's comparable to taking vitamins in the fall to avoid getting sick in the winter. We need to prevent, not treat the consequences," she said.
The Polish General Staff focuses on public counterintelligence. The idea is that every Pole can contribute to strengthening the country.
The information campaign against Russian disinformation is conducted regularly.
In July, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine, together with Poland, is working on a mechanism that would allow Polish air defense systems to shoot down Russian missiles and drones in Ukrainian airspace that are launched toward Poland.
Recently, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said that the country could shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine under only one condition—if there is a threat to nuclear power plants.
