Police release footage of first minutes after Russia’s strike on Kyiv

Russian forces carried out a massive combined strike on Kyiv on the night of August 28. The police released footage of the first minutes after the attack, according to the Telegram account of Oleksii Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department.
According to him, the patrol officers were among the first to arrive at the site of the strike to rescue the wounded. They provided first aid, evacuated the injured to the nearest hospitals and ambulances, cleared debris, and helped people reach safe areas.
They also ensured that specialized equipment could reach the locations without obstacles.
Biloshytskyi noted that emergency rescue operations are ongoing.
Massive attack on Kyiv
On the night of August 28, Russian forces carried out a massive combined attack on Kyiv. Russia targeted the capital with Shahed drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, including Kinzhal missiles.
Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat said this was one of the most extensive attacks on the capital.
As a result of the night’s massive attack on Kyiv, destruction was recorded in all districts of the city. This is the first time such widespread damage has occurred since the full-scale war began.
In particular, in the Darnytskyi district, a missile struck a five-story residential building. One entrance was completely destroyed, with the impact hitting the third and fourth floors, causing extensive damage. Currently, 19 people are reported injured.
In addition, the terrorist country also targeted diplomatic institutions. The building of the European Union mission in Ukraine was damaged.
