Poland summons Russian envoy after drone strike on Polish-owned factory in Vinnytsia

Poland summoned a representative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation over the strike on the Barlinek company’s plant in Vinnytsia on July 16, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
Yesterday, on July 16, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned a representative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation. This occurred after another attack by Russian troops on Ukraine.
During the Russian strikes, the plant of the Barlinek company, located in Vinnytsia, was damaged.
"An attack on the plant of the Barlinek company in Vinnytsia, which is Polish-owned and engaged exclusively in civilian production, is a violation of international law," the ministry explained.
It should be noted that this enterprise is engaged in the production of flooring.
Russians struck the Polish Barlinek
RBC-Ukraine wrote that during the shelling of Vinnytsia, Russian terrorists attacked the plant of the Polish company Barlinek with drones.
This incident was also responded to yesterday by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Poland, Radosław Sikorski.
According to Sikorski, who spoke with the head of the plant, it became known that the strike on the plant was deliberate and carried out from three directions.
Moreover, as a result of the attack, there are wounded, including two with severe burns.

Attack on Ukraine on July 16
During the night of July 15 to 16, Russia launched another massive strike on Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and about 400 Shahed strike drones and decoy drones.
According to the Air Force, by the morning of July 16, the Ukrainian air defense had destroyed 198 drones, and another 145 were lost from radar tracking.
The regions affected by the strikes included Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, and Vinnytsia regions. In particular, in Vinnytsia, significant air pollution was recorded as a result of the attack.
