Poland’s security line runs along the frontline between Ukraine and Russia. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between Warsaw and Kyiv, said Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, according to Rzeczpospolita.

"Poland’s security line runs along the frontline between Ukraine and Russia. I am fully aware of this, and I think many people who are trying to forget it in Poland and around the world need to be reminded of it once again," Kosiniak-Kamysz said.

He emphasized the need to enhance cooperation between Poland and Ukraine, particularly through joint economic initiatives, the creation of joint enterprises, and the construction of factories together.

"We have very good soldiers, we have a large army, and we want to make use of the great experience of the Ukrainian army," the Polish minister added.

Ukraine–Poland cooperation

This morning, September 18, Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz arrived in Kyiv with a delegation from Poland’s Defense Ministry and Armed Forces.

The sides discussed military cooperation, further support for Ukraine, and the security situation amid Russian aggression.

Earlier, it was reported that Poland and Ukraine are preparing to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of drone technologies, which will include developing joint initiatives and training military personnel.

In particular, Ukraine and Poland will set up a joint task force on unmanned systems to coordinate training and the development of new defense projects. The group will include military personnel from both countries.
