Poland is preparing its 46th military aid package for Ukraine, valued at €200 million, states Polish Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, according to PAP.

"This is the 46th contribution, and we will continue to help. I would like to emphasize that. We will train Ukrainian soldiers, and we have fulfilled this mission. Out of the 80,000-90,000 soldiers trained by European Union countries, Poland has trained about a third — 28,000. We are ready to continue training on our territory. We are a leader in this field," Kosiniak-Kamysz stated.

He stressed that Poland, as a country, "was a leader in providing aid" when it came to military support.

"I remember those National Security Council meetings when I was in the opposition at the time, but there was unity in action between the opposition and the government. No one had any doubts that military equipment needed to be transferred. While some were still considering what to provide and looking at their stockpiles, Poland was sending tanks, heavy equipment, and ammunition. We delivered everything that was possible," the Polish minister added.

Kosiniak-Kamysz noted that "in terms to our GDP and our capabilities, today, humanitarian and military aid from Poland ranks among the top worldwide in terms of support provided to Ukraine."

It was previously reported that Poland is increasing the number of Starlink terminals to ensure stable communication on the front lines in Ukraine. This step is crucial for strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

By the end of 2024, Poland had delivered 24,400 Starlink terminals from Elon Musk’s company, SpaceX, to Ukraine. In November 2024, a new batch of terminals was ordered and is gradually arriving in Ukraine.
