Pakistan's MoD: War with India could start within 2–4 days

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif suggests that a war with India could start within the next four days, he made this statement during a broadcast on Samaa TV.
"The clouds of war are gathering over the region, with tensions between Pakistan and India reaching alarming levels. A war could potentially break out between the two countries within the next two to four days," Asif emphasized.
He also claimed that the incident involving an attack on tourists in Kashmir was allegedly staged by India. According to the minister, an international commission, preferably under the UN or with the participation of regional countries, should be established to conduct an independent investigation into the matter.
"The Pahalgam incident (the village where tourists were attacked – ed.) is a complete lie," he added.

The head of Pakistan's Ministry of Defense clarified that he did not suggest a war with India could start in the coming days.
"My words were misinterpreted. I said that the next 2-3 days will be important. I did not say that a war would start in 3 days. We are only psychologically prepared for war," he wrote on his Facebook page.
India-Pakistan conflict
Last week, militants opened fire on a group of tourists in the Indian-administered region of Kashmir. More than 20 people were killed.
India believes that Pakistan organized the attack, as the terrorists targeted only Hindus while sparing Muslims (Islam is Pakistan’s state religion).
Against this backdrop, both countries have already moved their troops to the border. A shootout recently occurred there.
