RBC-Ukraine looks back at how the musician supported Ukrainians.
What Ozzy Osbourne said about Ukraine
The rocker was not only a legendary figure in the music world — he also didn’t stay silent when Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022.
In April 2022, he and his wife Sharon announced their intention to help Ukrainian refugees and called on the world not to stand by.
We’re standing up for Ukraine. We’re asking everyone who sees this to amplify this call — post yourself, share a video from an activist, or share this video — so that our world leaders know we need the world to stand up for Ukraine and support refugees #standupforukraine pic.twitter.com/rXJPap1Lu5

Later, in August, he dedicated the release of his album Patient Number 9 to Ukraine. The album cover featured blue and yellow accents along with a powerful message.
The album was priced at $38, and Osbourne pledged to donate all proceeds to the Third Wave Volunteers organization, where his son Jack had been involved since the beginning of Russia’s invasion.
"In February, my son Jack worked with Third Wave Volunteers to evacuate orphans with special needs from Ukraine. Ukraine is in desperate need of help right now, especially since the war started, so itʼs only right to work on such an important cause," Osbourne wrote at the time.
