In the night of March 1, Russia launched 123 attack drones at Ukraine from four directions. Ukraine's air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force's Telegram.

According to the military, from 6:00 PM on February 28 until the morning of March 1, Russia attacked with 123 Shahed, Gerber, Italmas, and other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Crimea. About 70 of them were Shahed drones.

The air assault was repelled by Ukraine’s aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.

Preliminary data show that as of 8:30 AM, air defense had shot down or suppressed 110 enemy drones, including Shahed, Gerber, Italmas, and other types, across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

At the same time, 13 attack drones struck seven locations, while debris from downed drones fell in four locations.

Shelling across Ukraine

Earlier today, March 1, Russian forces hit a dormitory in Kharkiv with an attack drone, causing a fire and injuring two women.

On the night of February 28, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 105 attack drones from multiple directions. Ukraine's air defense managed to shoot down 96 enemy drones.

At the same time, six attack drones hit targets, and debris fell at seven locations.

Russian forces also targeted a railway station in Dnipropetrovsk region. An enemy drone hit an electric locomotive, injuring the engineer.

Additionally, yesterday Russia attacked Dnipro with attack drones. A downed Shahed fell just 10 meters from the home of the city's mayor, Borys Filatov.
