The resumption of declaration filing
In Ukraine, the obligation to submit income declarations was canceled after the start of full-scale war. However, the Ukrainian government committed in a memorandum with the IMF to reinstate e-declaration by August 1, 2023.
On July 27, a bill was introduced to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) regarding the reinstatement of income declarations for officials and those aspiring to hold public positions. The bill received support from 299 members of parliament in the first reading.
