As a result of the Russian strike on Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs, at least 42 people were injured, including infants, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram.

"The number of those injured in today’s attack on the city has risen to 42. Among them are two infants, 28 days and one month old, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, a 10-year-old girl, and two 17-year-old teenagers," said Terekhov.

Meanwhile, the Prosecutor's Office clarified that six children were injured in the strike:

  • a 28-day-old girl;

  • a one-year-old girl;

  • a 10-year-old girl;

  • a 17-year-old girl;

  • a two-month-old boy;

  • and a 17-year-old boy.

Strike on Kharkiv

On Thursday, July 24, Russian forces struck a densely populated area of Kharkiv with two guided aerial bombs, each weighing 250 kg. The impact occurred near a residential apartment building.

According to the latest data, 39 people were reported injured in the attack, including six children. Two of the children are in serious condition in the hospital.

Later, the Russian forces also attacked the private sector of Kharkiv with a Chernika drone. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries from that strike.
