During the liberation of the village of Kucheriv Yar in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian paratroopers carried out a rescue operation and evacuated 10 civilians, the Command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
During the liberation and clearance of the settlement of Kucheriv Yar in the Dobropillia direction, Ukrainian paratroopers managed to find and evacuate local civilians to a safe location.
Through aerial reconnaissance, a note was delivered with further instructions and the designated evacuation site. A total of 10 people were rescued.
The military explained that the operation was complicated by the fact that Russian soldiers often dress in civilian clothes, which makes orientation much more difficult.
Despite this, thanks to the coordinated actions of the headquarters and the paratroopers' implementation, the operation was successful, allowing them to save people in danger.
"Our people are extremely important. Despite the difficult fighting conditions and the liberation of Ukrainian land from Russian forces," the military explained.
Yesterday, October 22, Ukrainian defenders liberated the village of Kucheriv Yar from Russian occupation. During this operation, they also significantly replenished the exchange fund.
The military reported that during the operation, Ukrainian defenders captured more than 50 Russian soldiers.
More details about the operation can be found in the RBC-Ukraine report.
Since September, Ukrainian soldiers have continued their counteroffensive near Dobropillia. According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the defenders have liberated more than 180 square kilometers of territory from Russian occupation.
