The strike on an energy facility in the Odesa region did not affect the operation of the Ukrainian energy system. It is functioning steadily, according to the CEO of Ukraine's National Power Company "Ukrenergo," Volodymyr Kudrytskyi.

He reminded that Ukrainians must maintain information silence. Therefore, Kudrytskyi did not specify which specific object was damaged. According to him, it is an object of regional significance.

"I can say that it is an object of regional significance. Today's attack will obviously not affect the stability of the power system," he said.

Kudrytskyi emphasized that based on the experience of last year, it can be concluded that the occupiers are trying to attack energy facilities near large cities. Therefore, energy experts are paying increased attention to the infrastructure located in such regions.

What is known about the night shelling

On the night of November 18, in Kyiv and several regions, the air raid siren sounded twice. The occupiers attacked with drones, and there was also a ballistic threat. The air forces reported that the Russians launched 38 shahed, and air defense forces shot down 29 enemy drones.

Today, an energy facility in the Odesa region was attacked, resulting in a fire. An employee was injured. Due to the strike in the Odesa region, 2 thousand consumers were left without electricity.
