One killed in Russian strike on Dnipro

Russian forces carried out a combined attack on Dnipro during the night of July 26. According to initial reports, at least one person has been confirmed killed as a result of the strike, according to Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov.
"Unfortunately, in a residential high-rise, an upscale ‘skyscraper’, we already have one confirmed fatality," the statement reads.
Mayor Filatov acknowledged the shortage of shelters but emphasized that staying on upper floors during an air raid, especially when there is access to a parking garage, is unnecessary.
"My condolences to the family of the deceased," the mayor concluded.
Russian strikes
Russian forces launched a combined attack on Dnipro, Kamianske, and Kharkiv overnight. The assault involved drones, ballistic missiles, and, in the case of Kharkiv, guided aerial bombs as well.
Numerous explosions were heard across the affected cities.
Later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the city had been under a massive combined attack for nearly three hours.
In addition, drones also struck Zaporizhzhia that night. Several fires were reported in the Zaporizhzhia district, including a confirmed hit on a non-residential building.
